Dear supporters of the Noah Association!

We look back on a successful year. Since November 2024, the initiative Noe Partium, our partner association in Micula, Romania, has been offering home nursing care with the support of the Micula municipality, to relieve family caregivers. At the day care center “House of Smiles,” 13 people with cognitive impairments receive loving support and professional development from a dedicated team of full-time and volunteer staff. Construction at the residential building “Tünderhon” has continued since May and is nearing completion.

Noe Partium is funded through contributions from the Micula municipality and the Romanian state, donations from supporters in Romania, the sale of its own products, and to a significant extent by the Noah Association. This is made possible by the diverse and generous support of many donors. From November 2024 to October 2025, around €66,000 was donated to the Noah Association. During this period, we supported Noe Partium with €32,000 for ongoing operations (salaries and material expenses) and €50,000 for the completion of “Tünderhon.”

We thank all donors who, through their support, help make it possible to complete the residential building “Tünderhon” and provide high-quality care in the day program “House of Smiles.” Many donations, including several very generous ones, brought a total of €66,199.00.

I would especially like to highlight

• the 17 sponsors who make monthly donations and thus contributed a total of €4,955.00 from November 2024 to October 2025
• the Bishop Stecher Memorial Association for their €3,000.00 support
• the confirmation candidates of the pastoral area Inzing-Hatting-Polling. As part of their confirmation preparation, they raised €1,150.00 through the “Money Multiplication” campaign.
• Mr. and Mrs. Elfriede and Andreas Helfensdörfer and their guests at their Golden Wedding. On this occasion, they asked for donations for Noe Partium and were able to raise €5,400.00 for Noah.
• the Fließ Middle School with all students and donors who raised €7,242.00 for the association Noah during the end-of-school charity run

The goal is in sight – the completion of the residential building “Tünderhon”

One final financial push is still needed – we ask for your support!

After almost a three-year pause in construction and overcoming many difficulties, work on this future home for ten people with cognitive disabilities was able to resume in the spring. Laura Szabo, who manages this construction project with great dedication and expertise, wrote to me at the beginning of November:

“Tündérhon is nearing completion. The paneling on the upper floor and partially on the ground floor is finished, the drainage pipes are in place, the heating is installed, the building is insulated, and it has received its exterior paint. What remains to be done is the installation of the sanitary facilities, the rainwater drainage, the exterior cladding of the walkway and terrace, and the painting. After that, the building will be furnished and the lighting fixtures installed.”

The municipality of Micula provided the land free of charge. The construction costs around €490,000.00.

We are still missing around €55,000. Please help us close this gap with your donation.

Request for private loans for the completion of the residential building

In order to be able to pay all invoices immediately after the completion of the Tünderhon residential building, we are requesting private loans. We have already received €25,000.00 in private loans. How does it work? Private individuals lend money to the association Noah for five years. The lenders decide the amount themselves, with a minimum of €2,000. A corresponding contract is concluded with the lenders. After five years, they receive their money back safely, including interest.
